Event Details
The Regions Superhero 5K is open to runners and walkers of all abilities. There is no age limit, but every participant must be registered. Minors must have a legal parent or legal guardian sign the entry form to be eligible.
Registrations are non transferable, non refundable and cannot be deferred. Event insurance is available for purchase, but can ONLY be purchased at the time of your registration.
Online registration through October 31: $25
Online registration September 8 – December 31: $35
Online registration January 1 – February 9: $40
Race Weekend Expo and Online registration February 10-11: $50
We offer race day registration until 7:45 am.
There is no participant cap for 2023
Packets can be picked up February 10th & 11th at Boutwell Auditorium. We offer race day packet pickup for the 5K.
In-line skates, bicycles, unauthorized vehicles and unregistered runners are prohibited on the course. No pets or smoking on course. Any participant breaking one of these rules will be removed from the course, disqualified and will not receive the finishers’ amenities. If you choose to run with a baby jogger please start at the back of the pack.
THE 5K has one hour time limit.
All registered race participants will receive the Regions Superhero 5K official race packet including the official Regions Superhero 5K technical running shirt.
There will be portalets at the water stop and medical will be available at the finish line. For emergencies on the course, police will be readily available at every intersection or call 911.
Winners of the Regions Superhero 5K race will be determined by official race timing devices that are attached to your race bib. Be aware that timing devices are not guaranteed to be available for race day registration, but are not required to participate. Official timing for the 5K is based on Gun Time for Overall Awards and Chip Time for Age Group Awards.
There will be a brief awards ceremony near the stage of Boutwell at 9:30 a.m. to present the Overall Male & Female with a green Regions bicycle. Overall award certificates will be emailed to the top 3 male/female and top male/female master runners. Age group awards certificates will be emailed to the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 8 & Under, 9-11,12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Above.
The Regions Superhero 5K results will be posted on the glass outside of Boutwell Auditorium after the race.
