Event Details

The Regions Superhero 5K is open to runners and walkers of all abilities. There is no age limit, but every participant must be registered. Minors must have a legal parent or legal guardian sign the entry form to be eligible.

Registrations are non transferable, non refundable and cannot be deferred. Event insurance is available for purchase, but can ONLY be purchased at the time of your registration.

Online registration March 1 – September 7, 2021: $25
Online registration September 8 – December 31, 2021: $30
Online registration January 1 – February 10, 2022: $35
Race Weekend Expo and Online registration February 11-12: $40

We offer race day registration until 7:45 am.

The 5K is capped at 1,500 participants.

Packets can be picked up February 11th & 12th at Boutwell Auditorium. We offer race day packet pickup for the 5K.

In-line skates, bicycles, unauthorized vehicles and unregistered runners are prohibited on the course. No pets or smoking on course. Any participant breaking one of these rules will be removed from the course, disqualified and will not receive the finishers’ amenities. If you choose to run with a baby jogger please start at the back of the pack.

THE 5K has one hour time limit.

All registered race participants will receive the Regions Superhero 5K official race packet including the official Regions Superhero 5K technical running shirt.

There will be portalets at the water stop and medical will be available at the finish line. For emergencies on the course, police will be readily available at every intersection or call 911.

Winners of the Regions Superhero 5K race will be determined by official race timing devices that are attached to your race bib. Be aware that timing devices are not guaranteed to be available for race day registration, but are not required to participate. Official timing for the 5K is based on Gun Time for Overall Awards and Chip Time for Age Group Awards.

Overall awards will include the top 3 male/female and top male/female master runners. Age group awards are 3 deep in each age group and each gender as follows: 8 & Under, 9-11,12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Above.

There will be no Awards Ceremony. The Regions Superhero 5K results will be posted on the glass outside of Boutwell Auditorium after the race.  Once the results are deemed “Official”, you’ll be able to go to the Regions Superhero area below the stage in Boutwell to pick up your award.  If you cannot stay to pick up your award we’ll be happy to mail your award. Shipping cost is $12. Please contact us at [email protected] If you’re local, the awards will be at the Homewood Trak Shak store beginning post race Wednesday and will remain there for two weeks.
