Race Expo and Packet Pickup

Entry into the Race Expo is free to the public. Check back for up to date info on vendors and activities closer to the event.

Runner packet pickup is located inside the Expo: Marathon, Half-Marathon, Relay, 5K  and Kids Marathon will pickup on the auditorium stage.  Please enter on the right side (as you are facing the stage) of the stage and exit on the left.  Please maintain social distancing when standing in line for your packet.

The Bell Center EIP Children’s Run

Children from The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs link to: https://thebellcenter.org/, our local charity, complete a 50-foot dash for their Mercedes-Benz medals. The Bell Center Children’s Run is the must see event of the weekend.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Kids Mercedes-Benz Marathon

The 5th graders will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by descending grades in 10 minute increments.

Sunday

NO Race Day Registration or Packet Pickup

Participants MUST wear their bib with attached timing device to be allowed on the course.

Bag Check

All items must be in a clear plastic bag. Bag check is not intended to store valuable items. MBMW will not be held responsible for missing or unclaimed items.

Worship Service

A non-denominational service led by South Highland Presbyterian Church in Linn Park across from Boutwell Auditorium near the finish line corrals.  Please look for the teardrop flag in the park that says “Worship Service.”

Jim ‘N Nick’s Post Race Block Party

Food, beverages, live entertainment, participant awards, gear and merchandise.  The awards ceremony will begin at approximately 10:15a.m. when official results are available.

Overall awards will be given at our Award Ceremony during the Post Race Party. If you are unable to pick up before you leave please email [email protected] to have them shipped to you for $15. Age group winners will receive award certificates by email after race weekend.
