How to Fundraise

Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend provides an excellent avenue for charities and organizations to raise funds for a cause without the hassle and expense of hosting their own event. Team members are encouraged to participate in and fundraise in any of our weekend events that meet their personal abilities, allowing charities to benefit from the Marathon, Half-Marathon, Relay and 5K. For more information on developing a fundraising team email [email protected].

THE BELL CENTER

The Mercedes-Benz Marathon weekend was organized in 2001 to benefit The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs. This Birmingham-based organization provides early intervention services for infants and toddlers at risk of developmental delays through a multi-disciplinary approach to promote growth in gross and fine motor skills, language, cognition, self-help, and social skills.

Marathon weekend participants can make an additional donation to The Bell Center at registration or become a Bell Runner to help raise additional funds.
