Blessing of the Runners – All runners and their families and friends are invited to the Cathedral of St. Paul for the evening Mass scheduled for 5:00 p.m. At the end of the service the Very Reverend Kevin M. Bazzel will offer a special blessing for all runners participating in the Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend events. The church is located at 2120 Third Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203, phone 205-251-1279. Look for, and follow, the beautiful twin spires on the skyline.
